Welcome to the home page of the Imperial College Union Cycling Club. The club caters for all two-wheeled disciplines, from the roadies tearing round Richmond Park comparing lycra-induced tan-lines, to the downhill mountainbikers scaring dogs and children on hillsides accross the country, but, thankfully, is composed principally of students fitting into categories somewhere inbetween.
We are a large club with over 120 members. Most of our members are triathletes but some concentrate on one of the three disciplines within triathlon whilst still joining in with club training sessions. The club base is at Gwyn Evans Sports Centre in Gwersyllt but we train in a variety of venues across the area.
Many of the 120 club members started on the shorter events and progressed to the longer triathlons. We even have some members who have completed the supreme challenge of the Ironman - 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike and a marathon run!

Machen is a village in the Rhymney Valley approx 6 miles West of Newport & 5 miles East of Caerphilly, South Wales.
The area has some of the best (mostly unknown to outsiders) mountain bike rides in South Wales, and is approximately 5 miles of good off-road away from the Cwmcarn mountain bike trails.
Our meeting place is outside the British Legion, and you will be off-road in less than 250 metres.
In Spring 2003, Dave and Cathy Green were asked to by Wigan's Sport Development team , to coach a number of athletes from Wigan swimming clubs for an Aquathlon at the Greater Manchester Youth Games. Following the event - Wigan won - athletes and coaches wanted to continue with the training and, in 2004, Tri Team Wigan was born.

We are a racing and sporting cycling club based to the west of London. Our clubhouse is Staines Sailing Club, 105 Chertsey Lane, Staines where we meet every Tuesday night for refreshments and a chat at 9.00pm.
We have a full programme of sunday club runs that leave Staines Bridge at 9.15am for a social ride of about 50-60 miles with a café stop. After Christmas there is also a Training Ride from Staines Bridge covering 60-70 miles without a break at a faster pace. For off road enthusiasts there is a Saturday morning off road ride during the autumn and winter months. Every Tuesday evening in summer there is a training ride which leaves Staines Bridge at 6.30
