12/08/2007 - Wensleydale Triathlon 2007

The 2nd Wensleydale Triathlon was held on 12th August, and in spite of the 2007 summer weather, especially for the swim, a good field enjoyed a great event in one of the most beautiful parts of the UK. Special congratulations go to RICHARD HUNT and HELEN MACVICKER as the winners of the Male and Female races. Richard won with a new course record of 4:07:14 against Steven Lord’s great 2006 record of 4:35:49, and Helen set a new female record of 5:31:36. 22/11/2005 - WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM CYCLING IN THE YORKSHIRE DALES

Kudu Bikes is trying to help the Yorkshire Dales improve cycling in the area. As you may be aware, the Dales Authorities are doing considerable amounts of work to improve cycling of all types in the area, just look at the links on our links page.

If you have any suggestions from route improvement or accommodation facilities, to potential race or charity events, give me a shout. No idea is too off the wall to be considered, but please don't expect the Tour De-France to be detoured through the Dales just because you suggested it.

We are all on the same side, and the authorities can't put your suggestions in place if they do not know what they are!!!
