Question. How do you store items which are sensitive to water such as maps, travel guides and documents?

Answer. Inside the waterproof ORTLIEB document bag which is available a range of sizes.

The document bags consist of an extremely flexible, non-cracking, tear-proof and transparent fabric resistant to tropical heat and artic cold, and ORTLIEB has developed a special process which guarantees seam welds are as strong as the plastic itself.

Opening and closing is simple, too. Just roll the fastener and

close the Velcro.

When exposed to strong UV light for a long period of time, the plastic material of the map cases and document bags may turn a bit yellow: however, this has no effect on the material’s function or quality.

Alternative materials score less well on more important criteria.
